Since 2022, Stefanie has been instrumental in advancing the company's sustainability agenda, focusing on circular economy principles, biodiversity, and sustainable resource management. Based in Bavaria, Germany, her role encompasses crafting strategies that align with global sustainability standards while ensuring practical implementation within Pfleiderer's operations.
Before joining Pfleiderer, Stefanie spent nearly a decade at UPM Communication Papers, holding various roles, including Senior Manager and Manager of Sustainability. During this time, she spearheaded science-based dialogues on sustainable papermaking, forestry, biodiversity, and climate change. Stefanie managed research projects, facilitated transparent communication with stakeholders, and conducted capacity-building initiatives to translate complex sustainability concepts into actionable insights for employees and customers.
