Since 2019, he has led Vytal’s international expansion and managed its product, sales, and brand experience. Before founding Vytal, Sven was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group, with roles at the World Economic Forum and experience in sustainability initiatives in the energy sector.

Sven Witthoeft is the Founder of Vytal, a company pioneering smart and sustainable Packaging-as-a-Service solutions for the take-away and delivery food industry. Since founding Vytal in 2019, Sven has driven the company’s international growth, overseeing product development, sales strategies, and brand experience. Under his leadership, Vytal has become a key player in the push toward sustainable packaging alternatives.
Prior to launching Vytal, Sven spent five years as a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked on high-impact consulting projects across various industries. During his tenure at BCG, he also served as Project Manager for the World Economic Forum’s "Future of Construction" initiative, where he analyzed innovations in engineering and construction to guide the industry's digital transformation.
Sven's career has been rooted in sustainability, having developed renewable energy and energy efficiency strategies for the mining industry at 3bl Mining Energy Advisors Inc. His experience extends across sectors, including roles as a Visiting Associate at BCG, a Research Assistant at the University of Mannheim, and internships at organizations like Ernst & Young and the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, and Energy.
