Liam de Bosscher
About:
Liam de Bosscher is a passionate biologist currently working at Forestbase, where he focuses on conservation planning and ecological restoration. Since August 2024, he has been contributing to projects that aim to enhance biodiversity and develop sustainable environmental practices.
Before joining Forestbase, Liam completed a Master Thesis Project at the National Museums of Kenya, where he interned from January to March 2023. During this internship, he designed a behavioral experiment to investigate the impact of predation risk on a socially living bird species, the Placid Greenbul. His research involved nest monitoring, bird ringing, and telemetry, which were part of a long-term ecological study aimed at understanding the dynamics of bird populations in relation to their environment.
Liam’s academic background and hands-on research experience reflect his commitment to advancing knowledge in biology and conservation. He aims to leverage his skills to contribute to meaningful ecological restoration efforts and promote biodiversity conservation
