The funds raised through certified carbon credits are reinvested in forests, enhancing ecosystem services and ensuring sustainable forest management.
In addition to his role at Tree.ly, Jodok is an entrepreneur at BTLG Holding, where he explores global opportunities to improve lives and promote sustainability through technology. His passion for building diverse, agile teams that operate on values of trust, positivity, and tolerance has driven his success in creating profitable service businesses and leading technology initiatives. Jodok has extensive experience in the B2C space and has founded a venture capital-funded deep tech B2B database company.
Jodok also serves on the board of SILVACONSULT AG, a firm dedicated to climate protection project development and providing consulting services for forest owners and public offices. His commitment to making data science accessible to students is evident from his previous role as a board member at Alphacruncher AG, an EdTech startup.
With a background as the Founder and CTO of Crate.io, Jodok has made significant contributions to data management solutions. His journey also includes key leadership roles at Lovely Systems GmbH and various startups in the technology sector. A natural scientist by education, Jodok combines objective reasoning and data interpretation with a strong global network, all while enjoying life in the Austrian mountains.
