Jens Xu is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Principal of Solar Development at Aid Pioneers, where he leads the engineering, procurement, and construction of solar projects (~100 kWp) for hospitals and schools across Ethiopia, Syria, and Lebanon. His focus includes building procurement and operations and maintenance from the ground up to enhance energy access in these regions.
Before joining Aid Pioneers in September 2024, Jens was a Technology Venture Manager at Enpal, where he successfully transformed a negative EBITDA to profitability by increasing the portfolio share of high-margin products through strategic in-person demonstrations. He implemented a supplier partnerships model that streamlined marketing expenditures and established a third-party customer touchpoint to enhance customer satisfaction.
Jens also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Junto, leading onboarding for over 100 business leaders into a digital learning membership and collaborating cross-functionally on product development. His earlier experience includes a business development role at FINN, where he integrated new systems to future-proof operations, and a consulting position at Simon-Kucher & Partners, conducting market analysis and developing pricing strategies for various sectors.
