About:

Benjamin Wulf serves as a Project Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Deutsche Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation e.V. Based in Bonn, Germany, he leads international project teams to implement innovative approaches fostering a just transition in the region. His responsibilities include strategic management of multilateral development projects, budget oversight, and the design and execution of impactful programs aligned with sustainability goals.

Previously, Benjamin worked at Next Digital Group in Düsseldorf, where he held roles as a Managing Consultant and Strategy Consultant, focusing on digital transformation, business model development, and organizational strategy. He facilitated workshops and managed complex programs aimed at modernizing corporate processes.

Benjamin gained further experience in digital strategy at Neo Consulting in Peru, where he worked on innovation and transformation projects, applying machine learning and big data to the banking sector. Before this, he honed his financial expertise at VerbundVolksbank OWL eG, where he held roles as a consultant in specialized lending, project finance, and renewable energy.

German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation

The German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation is the development-policy branch of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. Its task is to disseminate the successful Sparkasse model across regional borders and around the globe. By enabling people in developing countries and emerging economies to access financial services, it aims to create opportunities that will allow them to leave poverty behind. Currently, German Sparkassenstiftung works in over 50 countries in Africa, Latinamerica, Southeast-Asia, Central-Asia, Europe and the Caucasus. The main objective is to promote financial inclusion and access to financial services.
