Sylvain is the Co-founder & CEO of Mozaic Earth, a nature intelligence venture on a mission to build the new nature gig economy to underpin the natural capital markets. With over a decade as a sustainability strategist, he has helped clients set-up their net-zero strategies and develop sustainable solutions, incubating several low-carbon businesses within larger corporations.

Sylvain worked with the World Economic Forum focusing on fostering equitable transitions in the global south. However, in recent years he has grown frustrated by the narrow view to the climate emergency. Without a more systemic approach to valuing nature, we are bound to play 'whack-a-mole' and create bigger challenges for ourselves down the line. This is when Sylvain founded Mozaic Earth to provide fit-for-purpose, accessible ground-level data for scaling nature-positive markets and behaviours. Raised in France, he has spent most of his career in the US and the UK. Sylvain loves a good adventure (the gnarlier, the better ) and he is a die-hard Arsenal fan!
