Rosie Howell is the Deputy Chair of Ocean. Now!: an international marine conservation NGO leveraging the power of art to strengthen engagement with SDG 14 (Life below Water). Their goal is to rebuild thriving marine ecosystems by advocating for urgent action on an individual and systemic level.
Rosie also co-founded Howell & Howell, a creative marketing studio that helps companies and organizations boost their positive impact. With a (bio)diverse background in digital engagement and sustainability communications, she has worked with notable organizations, including WeForest and Canyon Bicycles.

About:
Rosie Howell is a dedicated ocean advocate and sustainability communicator. As Deputy Chair of Ocean. Now!, Rosie supports the UNEP-accredited NGO’s communications and partnership strategies. Following a successful first campaign (which helped achieve new EU regulation on intentionally added microplastics in cosmetics and detergents), Ocean. Now! is focused on preventing fashion microfibers from entering marine ecosystems.
As co-founder of Howell & Howell, Rosie combines her passion for storytelling with expertise in digital engagement and conscious communications. This creative marketing studio collaborates with purpose-driven clients to create impactful campaigns that drive positive change.
Rosie’s background in environmental advocacy and content creation enables her to make a substantial impact in the sustainability sector. Her work spans ocean health, biodiversity recovery, and sustainable innovation – and uses a range of narrative techniques to engage global audiences.
