Martin Rajcan is a seasoned venture capitalist and General Partner at KAYA VC, an early-stage investment firm focusing on European startups. Martin's career reflects a robust combination of financial expertise and leadership within both private equity and technology. Before joining Kaya VC in 2020, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Priori Data GmbH, a fast-growing software startup, and held investment and advisory roles at KKR & Co. Inc. and Morgan Stanley, where he witnessed firsthand the dynamics of global financial markets during the 2008 financial crisis.
In addition to his VC work, Martin serves as an advisor at Blue Bear Capital, which focuses on energy and climate technology. His personal experience of financing his own education through work has shaped his approach to resilience and leadership, which he emphasizes in both personal and professional settings.
