Previously, at ecoworks, he led efforts to decarbonize multi-family buildings, improving energy efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. His tenure at Climate-KIC involved directing initiatives that supported over 100 sustainable start-ups, addressing key environmental challenges. Malte earned his PhD at ETH Zurich, focusing on the effects of climate policy on innovation.
