About:

Dr. Lina Hollender is a leading expert in sustainability, space intelligence, and environmental transformation, working at the forefront of biodiversity conservation and climate resilience. With a background in business strategy and environmental sciences, she has dedicated her career to leveraging technology—especially space-based solutions—to tackle ecological challenges.

As a Fellow at Think Tank 30 (Club of Rome) and an advisory board member, she collaborates with EU policymakers, scientific institutions, and private sector leaders to integrate satellite data and space intelligence into sustainability strategies. Her work focuses on monitoring biodiversity loss, optimizing resource use, and developing data-driven solutions to protect ecosystems.

Previously, she played a key role at constellr, a space technology company pioneering Earth observation for climate adaptation. There, she helped launch satellite-based monitoring systems to improve agricultural sustainability, water resource management, and land conservation efforts—critical elements in safeguarding biodiversity against climate change.

Lina is deeply passionate about bridging technology and conservation, ensuring that space exploration supports life on Earth rather than disrupting it. Through her advisory roles and consulting work, she continues to drive nature-positive innovations, advocating for policies and business models that prioritize biodiversity, ecosystem restoration, and regenerative practices.
