About:

Johannes Wesemann is an experienced founder with a strong background in internationalization, business development, and digitization. As the founder of the organization AllRise, together with a team of experts he spearheads climate litigation initiatives aimed at protecting nature and preserving biodiversity. Notably, AllRise has filed a criminal complaint against former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro at the International Criminal Court, aiming to classify illegal deforestation as a crime against humanity.

This effort comes in response to the alarming rate of deforestation of the Amazon. AllRise also filed a lawsuit against the Republic of Austria to mitigate soil sealing, furthering its mission to hold environmental offenders accountable, including politicians and companies responsible for environmental destruction. Wesemann's broader goal is to end the impunity of those contributing to environmental degradation."

Involvement:

AllRise

AllRise is an NGO dedicated to holding governments and corporations accountable for environmental destruction through legal actions. Founded by Johannes Wesemann, the organization uses international law, particularly the International Criminal Court (ICC), to prosecute individuals and entities responsible for large-scale environmental damage that contributes to climate change.

AllRise aims to protect ecosystems and future generations by treating environmental harm as a crime against humanity. Through strategic litigation and advocacy, the NGO seeks to bring justice to those who suffer the consequences of environmental degradation and to promote sustainable practices globally.
