About:
Prof. Dr. Hermann E. Ott has dedicated his career to climate policy, environmental protection, and sustainability. With a formative background in law and political science, his early activism began with successful efforts to protect a local bird sanctuary. At the Wuppertal Institute, he advanced from project manager to lead the climate policy department, later opening the Berlin office.
