In addition to her consultancy work, Dr. Fischer is a co-founder of PERÚ PURO, a company that imports and promotes organic, biodiversity-friendly fine cocoa from Peru. The project not only supports local communities but also helps protect 900 hectares of rainforest through sustainable agroforestry. Dr. Fischer is also actively involved in the scientific board of WWF Germany and contributes to the BNP Paribas Foundation as a member of the foundation board.
