Carolyn is a professor and head of the Business Administration - Food Management program at DHBW Heilbronn and has a background in economics with a focus on environmental management. Through her dissertation at the University of Hohenheim, she explored corporate sustainability strategies in the automotive industry. She also played a key role in establishing and managing the sustainability office at Dr Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. Furthermore, she gained experience in the food retail sector as the Head of CSR and Sustainability at Lidl Germany, where she was responsible for the publication of the company's first sustainability report. Carolyn is actively involved in various advisory boards and organizations related to sustainability and food, including the German CSR Forum, the German Institute for Community Gastronomy, and the newFOODeconomy advisory board of the dfv media group and Food Campus Berlin.
