Established in May 2020, KONTOR provides strategic and communication consulting services to clients across forestry, agriculture, bioeconomy, and climate technology sectors. The firm aims to support governments and organizations in transitioning towards a truly sustainable economy, reflecting Alexander's belief that fostering and preserving values is paramount for long-term success.
Alexander also holds advisory positions at several influential organizations, including Brainforest, a venture platform focused on forest and climate solutions, and carbonauten GmbH, where he contributes to sustainable practices and innovation. His previous leadership experience includes serving as the Principal Chief Executive Officer of AGDW – Die Waldeigentümer from October 2014 to April 2020, where he advanced forestry interests.

The Ecosystem Value Alliance Foundation (eva) creates a market for ecosystem services through scientifically backed, digital standards, enabling the trade of ecosystem certificates. These certificates help finance the restoration and preservation of ecosystems, particularly climate-resilient forests, while aligning with UN guidelines. Eva's work supports private sector investment in environmental sustainability and reduces transaction costs for small-scale forest owners. Their "Wald-Klimastandard" is a key initiative focused on reforesting German forests to combat climate change.
